Phone call

Woke up this morning and wasn't feeling good. I decided to call Maria to fill her up about things here and also for her to share with me about her life in Gansu. Spoke with her for almost 40 minutes and it definitely help taking away some of my dull moments.

Both Maria & Johnny told me that it is the beginning of winter in Gansu, the temperature has dipped especially night fall. I listened with envy because weather here is so erratic, it's hot in the morning, shower with storm in the afternoon and humidity stays. :(

I can understand why people grumble how the weather can affect their moods and their daily go-about.

To keep cool, just imagine that you are in a snow filled land like the pictures above. It was taken during one of my holidays in USA. We were heading to Grand Canyon and along the way, we stopped our vehicle just to play with snow.

I am going to day dream and look forward to another holiday (must be chilly & snowy) :>

Selfish Cabby

今天下午很不开心， 因为遇到一个态度很差的计程车司机。

我在德士站（新马关卡外面）上车告诉他要去的地点， 他竟然 要我下车， 理由是他不知路线。 我告诉他我能够引导路线。 他马上回应的说 “不要，不要，请下车”。 我很生气的上后面的计程车。 司机就问我 为什麽前面司机不载我。 当他从我口中了解情况后， 他不高兴的说他不载的真正理由是路程太短了。他要去比较长的路程才会赚到钱。 是的， 我了解我要到达的目的地， 路程大慨只有十分钟， 收费大概 4。50 左右。 但司机没有很好的理由拒绝我， 因为事先我已提出路该怎麽走了。 而且他也不该停在德士站等待搭客， 而又因自己的自私理由继决载搭客。

如果不是赶时间和手上拿了两大袋很重的东西，我是不搭计程车回家的。

回到家里，想到此事， 午餐都没吃好， 倒味口。 ：《 ：X :(

无论如何，我已经向有关当局投诉此事件了。 因为这样的事件已经是第二次了。

Thinking of you....princess

Missed cradling my princess 。 。 。 。 。missed her natural scent, her body warm, her little wails and that "cuddly" feeling of holding her near.

My precious niece has returned to her home. She was with granny for about one & a half month since discharged from hospital. Hope she is adjusting well and sleeps soundly with lots of sweet dream like this picture :p

Down with cold

Coming down with a cold.

Eyes teary, runny nose, dry throat, throbing headache and in a languid mood . With all these symptoms, yet I don't feel like sleeping. Just wanted to sit infront of the computer to surf, surf and surf.

Sean asked: "Why aren't you resting since you are not well?"
I replied : "It's ok" .
Sean : "You better sleep soon, otherwise you'll be attacked".
I replied : "Attack? by what?"
Sean : "By germs, they will live and crawl inside you". (I think he is referring to virus).
I replied: "I'll take some medicine & I should be well."
Sean : "If germs live in our body, can we take poison and destroy them all, tell the germs to buzz off and we will be powerful again".

Sean must be thinking about all his "action-packed" TV shows from the kids channel. Kids around 5-6 year old just love to imagine and play pretend. What an influence TV shows can bring to a kid!

Maple leaves from Canada

I was supposed to reorganize my drawer but my eyes was fixed on this special gift (maple leaves). It was sent to me by my sister accompanied with a birthday card all the way from Montreal, Canada in Year 2003.

I always have a special feeling for maple leaves . And I would imagine how romantic it is for a loving couple to walk through a row of maple trees and letting the leaves fall freely on them during autumn. Sigh.....that can only be seen in a movie. When I imagine autumn, it must be a season of cool breeze, leaves turning gold or brown. A season for taking slow walk and soaking in that nice cool surroundings. I remember listening to some mandarin songs of the 70s that had the word "qiu" (秋, autumn）and "feng ye" (枫叶, maple leaf) in the songs. Some examples are：“枫叶情“，“秋诗篇篇“， “ 深秋枫红”， “深秋“， "秋歌“， "枫叶的祝福“, "温暖的秋天“. I wonder did the song writers get the inspiration during the autumn season to pen those lyrics.


Thanks to Maria that I got to keep these beautiful maple leaves to see, to hold, to feel and day dream。。。 the day that I will be under a maple tree during autumn in a quiet beautiful countryside, some where near and far.
